The Netherlands has a fantastic, new and unique event: "De Smaak van Holland" (The Taste of Holland). From the 26th to the 29th of August at the Keukenhof (Lisse) you will find the best of everything from Dutch soil. Discover the top qualities our small country has to offer in the fields of technology, gastronomy, fashion, art and culture.
The Netherlands may have always been a land of pioneers, a country of down-to-earth and creative entrepreneurs with a passion for commerce, but for centuries we have also been able to maintain our heritage and traditions, both at home and abroad. The "Gooise R" and softly pronounced "G" are sacred, potatoes and peanut butter will never disappear and on the dance floor we have our classics; from clog dancing to techno.
During "De Smaak van Holland" all manner of Dutch qualities and specialties are brought together; those from the past, present and future. Spread throughout the stunning and famous Keukenhof, Dutch tastes can be discovered and tried; from crafts and design to industry and food. Naturally this event will also offer plenty of space for tourism and entertainment, in the park itself as well as on several stages.
